I'm a rower and a member of the Egyptian national rowing team. I compete in Classic Rowing, Coastal Rowing and indoor rowing on the Concept2 Erg — in the 2000m, 1000m, and 500m events — at National and international championships.
Alongside my work as a backend developer, rowing taught me discipline, consistency, and how to push through limits — the same mindset I bring to engineering. Every season has a new target, and I train for it like I'd ship a feature.

Won every local race and the national team trials in the single and double sculls. Competed at the African Rowing Championships in New Alamein, North Coast — earning 2nd place in the men's double sculls U23 and 3rd place in the men's single sculls U23.
For the first time in the history of Egypt and Africa, I won gold in the 500m (U21) at the World Rowing Indoor Championships with an unprecedented time for Egypt — 1:16 in the 500m.
At the World Rowing Indoor Championships I took two 1st-place finishes in two different races: the 1-minute U23 race, where I rowed 406m, and the mixed relay U23.
